Spring 2021 Coach/Assistant Coach Registration and Livescan System

DYSL Coach and Assistant Coach Registration

All Coaches and Assistant Coaches, working with DYSL players in either the Recreational program or the Competitive program must read and complete all four sections below, as required. In order to be assigned to a team roster, all below must be completed.

1. DYSL Coach / Assistant Coach Registration
   • Rec. Coaches / Assistant Coaches must complete this registration every season.
   • Comp. Coaches / Assistant Coaches must complete this registration every Fall season (or Spring if they were not registered in Fall)
2. Safe and Healthy Play Environments Course
   
   • Safe and Healthy Play Course - All Coaches/Assistant Coaches must complete this registration every Fall (or Spring if they were not registered in Fall)
3. Abuse Prevention
   • SafeSport Course - All Coaches/Assistant Coaches must complete this registration every Fall (or Spring if they were not registered in Fall)
4. Cal North Risk Management / Live Scan Fingerprinting and Background Check
   • Coaches / Assistant Coaches need to perform this step for DYSL only once.

 Please be sure you use your full legal name on all documents

1. Create DYSL Coach / Administrator Registration

Recreational and Competitive team Coaches/Assistant Coaches:


• You must complete this registration every season.
• Select Registration (top right corner)
  
  • If you are a returning user, you can log in with your existing account information.
  • If you are a new user, please use the "Create New Account" button.
• Select the age group and gender you are planning on coaching
  • If you plan to coach in multiple age groups, you can select more than one
•  Please note:  Click Do Not Have Assignment Code
• Continue through the steps. Agree to the Electronic Legal Agreement.
• Press "No Payment Due, continue".

 

2,3. Safe and Healthy Play Enviroments Course & Abuse Prevention Certifications

• Go to the Stack Sports website and login to your member account
  • Review your member profile on the landing page
  • Upload a passport-style picture of yourself (if needed)


• If there is no check mark to the left of the Safe and Healthy Play Environ., then you must complete the course by following the link provided there.
  • You must upload the certificate/proof of completion once the course is completed.


• If there is no check mark to the left of the Abuse Prvention Certification, then you must complete the course by following the link provided there.
  • If you have previously completed the SafeSpot training for another registration organization you can upload a copy of your certificate of successful completion

 

 4. Cal North Risk Management / Live Scan Fingerprinting

• Go to the Stack Sport website and log into your member account
  • Review your member profile on the landing page
  • Upload a passport-style picture of yourself (if needed)


• If there is a green "thumbs up" by your name, your background check is completed and valid.
• If there is a red "thumbs down" by your name you MUST complete the Live Scan background check.


• Every Coach / Administrator must have a Live Scan fingerprint scan and background check on record with Cal North.
  • Please note that due to privacy regulations we can not transfer or confirm your fingerprint status from any other organization (e.g. school, AYSO, basketball, baseball, …)


• If you know you need fingerprinting, you must print and fill out a Request For Live Scan Form. (The Cal North Risk Management step you completed above also generated exactly the same form).
  • District Number = 02
  • Club Number = 01  
• Please download and print the Request For Live Scan Form, this will already be pre-filled by the system.  
• Please present it to a Capital Live Scan vendor who will process the form and take your fingerprints.
